With Jacques Perconte, a figure of video art in Europe, he composes an immersive opera where music, image and science fiction take us to the frontiers of reality.

Adapted from Stanislas Lem's masterpiece, Solaris explores the mysteries of a planet surrounded by two suns and covered with an ocean that seems endowed with a form of intelligence defying all human understanding.

With this major work of science fiction literature, Othman Louati and Jacques Perconte question our way of inhabiting the world, our relationship to knowledge, to technology as well as to love and spirituality.

Like a wave of radiating celestial light, this opera-video brings into motion human voices, instrumental forces, analog synthesizers, filmed natural landscapes, stage texts, closed-circuit video, moving mathematics, cinematics and silences to construct the different levels of reality of the narrative.

Between cosmic fascination and existential reflection, Solaris invites us to transcend the illusions of mastery and conquest logics to rediscover a form of humility before the unknown.
