In a few words

Young Franco-American Paul Ji trained for 10 years with Qin Yingming (Long Thibaud laureate 1981) and studied at the École Normale de Paris with Jean-Bernard Pommier. A laureate of the "American Protégé" competition at Carnegie Hall in 2012, he won the International Steinway Competition seven times between 2010 and 2018 and was thus chosen to perform, as France's representative, at the Steinway Music Festival at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. The same year, he played at the Berlin Philharmonie after winning the Grand Prix Berlin Rising Stars and at the Annecy music festival. Spotted as a laureate of the TV show "Prodiges" in 2019 (he was just 15 at the time), he released his first album with Warner. Awarded in several international competitions in the United States and Europe, he embarked on a professional career as a recitalist on several major prestigious stages. For his second appearance at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, he naturally chose an all-Chopin programme, a composer he serves with elegance and nobility.
