Greek conductor Teodor Currentzis and his Utopia Orchestra, an ensemble he created in the summer of 2022, have already set ablaze the venues where they have performed on several occasions. The musician and conductor leaves no one indifferent, and many have experienced one of his interpretations as a “perilous ride into the abyss, where every rhythm and counter-rhythm is vividly articulated, every sharp accent and sforzando is ferociously acute…”. Bolstered by this energy, his approach to The Rite of Spring is expected to take on a very special dimension. In the second part of the evening, young Swedish violinist Daniel Lozakovitch is also expected to demonstrate his elegance and technical aplomb in Shostakovich's Concerto No. 1, which shines brightly with its devilish cadenza difficulties. An evening that promises to take us through peaks of emotion!
