For its 30 years of musical passion and its 10th year at La Seine Musicale, the International Philharmonic Choir, UNESCO Artist for Peace, presents an exceptional program: the sublime Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin. A rogue, a beggar, a young woman.
African Americans of the 1930s. They survive in the slums of Charleston, South Carolina, where love rubs shoulders with crime and misery daily.
At the confluence of opera, blues, negro spiritual and jazz, Gershwin infuses his characters with a flame to twirl, sing, vibrate despite adversity! The most famous jazzy lyrical in the world. La Seine Musicale does not allow children under 3 years old to access the hall.
