In a few words
Still very young – it was formed in 2019 – but it already has all the makings of a great ensemble, if only by its harvest of international prizes (notably at the Wigmore Hall Competition in London and the Bordeaux Competition) and the release of a remarkable debut album. It must be said that many “good fairies” watched over their cradle early on, as evidenced by: Alfred Brendel, Günther Pichler and Valentin Erben (Alban Berg Quartet), Reinhard Göbel, Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Oliver Wille (Kuss Quartet) and Mathieu Herzog (Quatuor Ébène). For this second engagement, once again the fundamentals with Beethoven and Schubert and his sublime « Rosamonde », the one with which the musician « wanted to make his way towards the great symphony ». And it shows.
