Samuel Hasselhorn
Samuel Hasselhorn baritone, Ammiel Bushakevitz piano. Winterreise, a poignant breviary for Romantic travellers.
Overview
Samuel Hasselhorn baritone, Ammiel Bushakevitz piano. Winterreise, a poignant breviary for Romantic travellers. Schubert Winterreise D. 911. In a few words: Watch out — an exceptional talent!
Who, since Christoph Prégardien, has sung Schubert with such natural ease and such a feel for the text — the emotion, not merely the signs of emotion, as Roland Barthes might have put it? And with such a naturally beautiful voice.
Samuel Hasselhorn (born 1990) is entering his maturity. The next generation, and then some, is well and truly assured.
With his wonderful partner, Ammiel Bushakevitz, with whom he has recorded Schubert, he gives us, for his grand debut at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, this absolute masterpiece that is Winterreise. Co-production: MM Arts | Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
