Following a successful first evening in April 2026, the trio returns in 2027 to the stage at New Morning. With their sixth album, What We Are Made Of (released on ACT), SHALOSH turns towards a sound all their own while sounding more expansive than ever. This record is a deep dive into the trio's musical DNA, retracing the influences, instincts and emotional forces that have shaped their shared language over years of close collaboration and relentless touring. Blending original compositions with daringly reinvented covers, the album moves from raw, fluid grooves to lyrical introspection, passing through moments of unbridled intensity. Jazz is present here not as a genre boundary, but as a stance: open, physical and in perpetual motion, allowing elements of rock, classical music and popular song to coexist naturally within the trio's sound.
