Sophie Forte dans La valise

A hilarious and moving one-woman show: the rather comical family story of Sophie Forte. Five years ago, on the death of her uncle André, Sophie inherited an old suitcase. Inside were hundreds of photographs of her entire family, from her Italian great-grandparents to her daughters. Through the affectionate gaze she casts on them, each character comes to life before our eyes: a father who suddenly becomes famous without ever leaving his sofa, a dapper mother with an unfailing enthusiasm, an aunt with a cracked voice and multiple blow-dries, a dangerous Neapolitan grandfather, a cheerful uncle with an unexpected destiny, Gerry, the eternal dog… Incongruous, hilarious, tragic or moving stories… Or all of these at once!
