Spectacle de danse : "That's twisted" de Baptiste Cazaux

That's twisted by Baptiste Cazaux. A dancer and choreographer particularly active on stages in Belgium, France and Switzerland, Baptiste Cazaux is also a DJ, and his approach to choreography reflects this. That's twisted, "a psychedelic strategy to transcend nostalgia".

Bringing audiences as close as possible to his performance, Baptiste Cazaux composes this solo as a high-tension crossing of rhythms, bodily states and multiple musical registers.

Playing with references to the past and practising a state of live presence, That's twisted blurs temporal markers and perceptual habits through an incongruous play of sample assembly.

Drawing its inspiration from the pop hits of the late 2000s, tinged with a cheerful fatalism in the face of an uncertain future, the solo creates a murky landscape woven from echoes and shifting presences: a paradoxical and joyful form of contemporary melancholy.
