In brief
Long-standing regulars of the Concerts du Dimanche Matin organised by Jeanine Roze, the Trio Wanderer have kept up their habit of visiting on Sunday mornings. Audiences remember the magnificent programmes they have offered in recent years, devoted in particular to Schubert, Haydn and Beethoven. Here they return with a Beethoven programme featuring the Trios nos 1 and 2 of Op. 70. No. 1, known as the "Ghost" Trio, and No. 2, both dedicated to Countess Maria von Erdödy, a close friend of the composer, are contemporaries of the Fifth and Sixth Symphonies.
