At only 27 years old, Alexandra Ridout already ranks among the most talented trumpeters of the international scene. Of British origin and awarded at the BBC Young Talent Competition, she currently lives in New York, the jazz capital.
She joins here Fabrice Tarel within his new quartet on a repertoire of compositions by the latter, known for their lyricism and writing qualities.
Cyril Billot, a young and very active bassist on the French scene, and Andy Barron, an experienced drummer balancing finesse and energy, complete this exceptional ensemble. Line-up: Alexandra Ridout: trumpet; Fabrice Tarel: piano; Cyril Billot: bass; Andy Barron: drums.
