Barbara Carlotti et Clarika

Barbara Carlotti and Clarika - En Cavale

Two major voices of French chanson make cinema sing. From Peau d’Âne to Thelma and Louise, Clarika and Barbara Carlotti reinvent choruses embodied by unforgettable heroines and compose a theatrical, pop, and combative female concert! Clarika and Barbara Carlotti, two of the most prominent singer-songwriters on the Francophone scene, come together around a common repertoire: film songs. From Marilyn Monroe to Jeanne Moreau, from Madonna to Delphine Seyrig, each score is revisited to reveal what they say about women, their impulses, their flaws, and their struggles. The delicate piano arrangements, as well as Emmanuel Noblet's staging, support these two unique voices. Between pop concert and musical theatre, a cinematic road trip in praise of audacious heroines who have left their mark on our imaginations.
