Freely inspired by Glenn Gould, Jean-François Sivadier explores the most intimate springs of artistic vocation.
This was one of the highlights of the T/SQY's last season before its renovation: what a pleasure to rediscover this play of rare intensity, carried by an outstanding trio of actors. Raphaël, Swan and Mathis. The first two are virtuosos, the third a genius.
They meet in a prestigious music school, become inseparable. However, as they progress through their studies, their paths diverge. No instruments on stage, but the actors literally make music visible through their gestures, which become dance. A feat!
As the anthology scenes unfold, a fascinating, lively, profound and often funny discussion on the relationship to creation and life develops. Already a classic, to see and see again!
