Ben l'Oncle Soul

Ben l'Oncle Soul takes to the stage with a repertoire infused with soul, funk and gospel.

Active since the mid-2000s, the French singer and songwriter became known to the general public with the release of his eponymous debut album in 2010 on the Motown label. Shaped by retro influences, his artistic path explores the bridges between classic American soul, rhythm and blues, reggae and the vocal harmonies of gospel. His compositions alternate between brass-driven arrangements and acoustic ballads, built on lyrics written in both French and English.

On stage, the artist performs with a formation of seasoned musicians, favouring interaction with the audience and the energy of live orchestrations. The concerts give pride of place to the hit tracks from his discography as well as to his personal reinterpretations of standards. This date is aimed at lovers of traditional African-American music and modern soul, eager to attend a performance centred on vocal delivery and the cohesion of a touring band.
