A new and now well-established event at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées: that of Hans-Christoph Rademann and his Gaechinger Cantorey ensemble, whose concerts bear a rare seal: that of self-evidence, which consists of going straight to the heart of the works. The incredible quality of the choir, the transparency of the orchestral lines, all carried by the communicative energy of a conductor of remarkable authenticity, all contribute to great moments of emotion and artistic truth. This evening, Hans-Christoph Rademann and his ensemble will introduce us to the fabulous Motets of J.S. Bach and their learned double-choir polyphonies, which will be interspersed with some of the most beautiful orchestral pages from the Cantatas.
