Concerto Danzante shatters the boundaries between Baroque music and today's dance. From Vivaldi to Bach, the show offers a vibrant traversal of the concerto's history, nourished by unexpected dialogue with contemporary dance.

On stage, two creations answer each other, carried by CCN–Ballet de Lorraine. Around Vivaldi, Josépha Madoki imagines dialogue as bold as it is electrifying with waacking, urban dance with strong theatrical dimension. Around Bach, Maud Le Pladec deploys powerful choreographic writing, tensed toward the very essence of the concerto.

Les Arts Florissants, directed by violinist-conductor Théotime Langlois de Swarte, infuse this encounter with irresistible musical energy.
