After several years dedicated to television (the new explorers of Canal +), David Walters made his major recording comeback in 2020, fully deploying the creole charm of his album Soleil Kreyol.
The work will be hailed by critics and named album of the year by France Inter, Radio Nova, BBC6 Gilles Peterson, Pan African Music.
From Marseille, his home port, this globetrotter now radiates electro-creole vibrations and unprecedented blends across all continents, between afrobeat and kompa, hip-hop and Caribbean traditions. The joyful, sonic and danceable expression of a certain enlightened globality.
The single Kité Koulé, the first extract from his next album Ti Love, expected in early 2026, marks a vibrant musical encounter with another Guitarist/Singer: Keziah Jones.
Between intoxicating groove and spirituality, the track also references Manman Dlo, goddess of the oceans, symbol of memory, life and healing. A song at once intimate and universal, already on the playlist on France Inter, inviting us to dance with the currents of life.
