The 7 à l’Ouest festival returns for its 4th edition of shows for families. Once again, Francheville kicks off the series of 7 shows from the 7 communes of Val d’Yzeron with a performance imbued with poetry and lightness: “Deux rien”.

Through mime and dance, the artists tell the present story of these forgotten individuals. A strange duo, whose history remains unknown to us. No past, no future, only the beauty of the present moment. But what are they doing there? Nothing, twice nothing! They are sitting there, sharing a small bench just big enough for their two pairs of bottoms. Clinging to each other, buoy or burden, they hold on at the edge of the abyss, for better or for worse. These “deux riens”, real-life clandestines, keep busy, write to each other, invent an elsewhere, an in-between, and choose to board the real world through play. Life and fiction respond to each other without interruption. An element like a beacon, the last anchor to the real world: a bench. Theatre of our emotions...
