Dub Pistols, formed during the big beat explosion in the 90s, are about to release their 10th album in 2025, after a journey sometimes fraught with obstacles. Despite these challenges, their popularity remains solid thanks to a loyal fanbase and diverse collaborations. Their first album, Point Blank (1998), marked the beginning of an international career and significant media exposure. After an interruption due to the events of September 11, they bounced back with influential albums like Rum & Coke and Worshipping The Dollar. Their style has been enriched by collaborations with Terry Hall of The Specials and artists like Akala and Rodney P. In 2019, they launched their own festival, Mucky Weekender. After successes during the pandemic with singles like Stand Together, they continue to innovate with albums like Frontline (2023) and a future project with the Freestylers. Their international tour continues, consolidating their status as one of the most dynamic bands on the music scene.
