Eboni Fondren, Jazz vocal au 38Riv Jazz Club

Vocal jazz — Eboni Fondren, a rising star of Kansas City jazz, enchants with her deep voice and her unique interpretation of American standards at an exceptional evening at the 38Riv.

Eboni Fondren, a leading figure of the Kansas City jazz scene, is returning to France for a special evening at the 38Riv. A singer of international class, she has a full, deep voice and a very personal way of bringing the standards to life, rooted in the most authentic sources of American jazz. Her sense of interpretation, her swing and her stage presence make her a truly outstanding vocalist. Following the album "An American in Paris", arranged entirely by Laurent Marode, she is joined for this occasion by some of the finest musicians on the French jazz scene in an intimate, resolutely swinging quartet. A rare opportunity to hear one of the great voices of Kansas City in Paris.

Line-up: Eboni Fondren: vocals; Laurent Marode: organ; David Sauzay: saxophone; Stéphane Chandelier: drums
