A subtle and dazzling repertoire, divided into 24 noubas linked to the hours of the day or night, in which voices, ouds, qanouns, violins, derbouka drums and tar percussion shine. Grand harmonies and XXL enchantment. Chakâm en duo. Persian-Baroque radif.
From trio to duo, the Chakâm ensemble, winner of the 2023 Prix des Musiques d'ICI, continues a poetic and virtuosic pooling of precious strings.
The Persian-descended târ lute of Iranian musician Sogol Mirzaei duels with the Baroque viola da gamba of French musician Marie Suzanne De Loye. A journey through space and time affirming a sign of timeless beauty.
