Overview
Formed in 1989 in Cinderford, in the Forest of Dean in England, EMF enjoyed meteoric worldwide success thanks to "Unbelievable", the emblematic hit of the 1990s. Their debut album, Schubert Dip (1991), immediately established their unique blend of rock, pop and electronic music.
Following the albums Stigma (1992) and Cha Cha Cha (1995), the group split up, before reuniting occasionally in the early 2000s. The death of bassist Zac Foley in 2002 nevertheless curbed this momentum.
EMF truly took off again in 2020 with the anniversary box set From Us to You, then the album Go Go Sapiens (2022), followed by The Beauty and the Chaos (2024), which was acclaimed by critics.
Today, the group continues to create, tour and bring together its audience with the same energy and passion that made its success. EMF will be passing through Paris for their Schubert Dip Tour on 4 December at the New Morning!
