Overview
Passionate about music in all its forms, Fred Pallem has explored jazz, film soundtracks and song.
We knew less about his long-standing passion for folk music, which he now fully embraces by taking up the vocals and acoustic guitar, revisiting several decades of popular repertoire ranging from Neil Young to Joe Henry, via Gene Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Ray LaMontagne, and a few others. A journey through the American west at sunset, coloured by the pedal steel guitar of Ludovic Bruni (Natalia M.King, Imany), the rhythm of Swanny Elzingre on drums and backing vocals (Juniore, Julien Bitoun), and Paul Iron on bass and backing vocals (Julien Bitoun & The Angels). The programme unfolds as a duo, trio and quartet.
Fred Pallem: acoustic guitar, vocals
Ludovic Bruni: acoustic and electric guitars, pedal steel guitar
