These four Compañeros have been and still are essential to my musical world, hence the title: Essential Quartet. After greatly enjoying our meeting on 10 April, we decided to make this quartet last as a "workshop"... So here is the Essential Quartet back in motion. » – Henri Texier

Henri Texier is a French jazz double bassist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, bandleader and composer, born in 1945 and active since 1960. Signed to Label Bleu, he released the album «Amir» in 1976, after playing in a string trio with Didier Lockwood.
