Overview
If you're a fan of… Wolf Alice, Alvvays & Hatchie, you'll love this evening.
HIGH HI (10:00pm) (Indie pop - Brussels, BEL) Emerging from Belgium's particularly fertile underground scene, and with the quiet confidence of those who know exactly what they're doing, this trio have methodically carved out a space where atmospheric experimentation and a razor-sharp pop sensibility coexist in perfect balance.
Based in Antwerp, the trio – made up of Anne-Sophie Ooghe (vocals, guitar), Dieter Beerten (vocals, drums) and Koen Weverbergh (bass) – made their debut with a dreamy, shoegaze-tinged sound that, across their albums, has evolved into a nuanced balance between introspection and catchy, accessible choruses.
