Overview
What if the family became a business? What would remain of the intimate if everything were for sale? On stage, a family of influencers performs perfect happiness, until an intruder arrives to disrupt this well-oiled machine.
In a living room turned into a film studio, a family of influencers stages its everyday life for its online community. Gift unboxings, product placements, carefully calibrated gestures: everything is ready for the camera.
Until the day an ungrateful, apathetic creature bursts into this overly smooth daily life and begins to shake its perfect image, gradually opening a void within it.
Grotesque figures, with bodies transformed by prosthetics and speaking a modern gibberish, populate this show with rare inventiveness.
Driven by a lavish aesthetic world, a clownish spirit and a highly physical performance from the cast, Influent Mum delivers a jubilant satire of a society in permanent performance.
