Overview
The son of the legendary Dahmane El Harrachi — an essential figure of chaâbi music and author of the iconic song Ya Rayah, later covered by Rachid Taha — Kamel El Harrachi carries on his father's legacy with passion and a modern touch.
A singer with a haunting voice, an inspired composer and a virtuoso of the mandole, he brings chaâbi to life with elegance, intensity and modernity. Each of his performances is an invitation to travel, through nostalgia, exile, love and poetry.
At Le POC, this concert will be an encounter: between the audience and a generous artist, a citizen of both shores, and a music that crosses generations. An evening rich in emotion, rhythm and sharing.
