True to its desire to build bridges between aesthetics and encourage exchange, La Seine Musicale continues this season to offer unique shows, at the crossroads of genres and artistic disciplines: music, dance, improvisation, poetry… Far from conventional labels, Keziah Jones has created a very personal style (which he calls "Blu Funk") infused with blues, R&B, and funk. These constitutive elements of his music have acquired a seal of authenticity through his journey as a bohemian artist between London and Paris. A period during which the public understood the importance of this Nigerian artist gifted with a remarkably expressive voice and armed with a formidable sense of rhythm. All qualities he expresses through his lyrics and his guitar. Having reached a decisive turning point in his career, Keziah Jones will perform his most emblematic songs with the complicity of the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France, a symphony orchestra seasoned in cross-disciplinary projects, conducted by Rémi Durupt. The arrangements by Pierre Bertrand (Sting, Maurane, Aznavour, inauguration of Notre-Dame...) constitute the ideal setting for this world premiere where the dialogue between strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and the artist's flashes of brilliance will mark a major event of the musical year 2026.
