Classic Sunday is the meeting place for curious families: educational concerts, film concerts, tales and stories in music… At the Auditorium of La Seine Musicale, classical music takes a thousand faces and is experienced at child height.

When animals come to life through orchestra instruments, it's an invitation to journey and reverie at child level, but also to have fun as a family around a jolly menagerie!

Ten instrumentalists, a storyteller, and a cartoonist to introduce music to the youngest through Camille Saint-Saëns's sumptuous score, The Carnival of Animals, which blends mischief and emotion and makes fantasy dialogue with comedy.

For the occasion, Alex Vizorek has composed facetious alexandrines to accompany the characters of this funny zoological adventure.

In turn, each comes to life before your eyes through the virtual reality drawings of illustrator Karo Pauwels who brings forth elephants, fish, and landscapes!

Like Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, this animal pastiche offers an ideal opportunity to introduce and make children love classical music.
