MEMENTO • Spectacle des MazelFreten

Following the electro success of "Rave Lucid", the MazelFreten company returns to the roots of its choreographic identity – the hybrid of hip-hop dance and electro – with this piece in the form of a manifesto.

Performed by six dancers from China, Russia, Cape Verde, Spain and France, MEMENTO is an explosion of collective energy in which rhythms, bodies and cultures intertwine. On a white mat bathed in light, the movements answer one another, search for each other and unite, drawing a sensitive and hopeful fresco. MEMENTO is much more than a show: it is a breath of humanity and joy, a celebration of the collective and of the freedom to be in motion. Structured and atmospheric, punctuated by sensitive discoveries, notably linked to the work of the arms, this piece, through which the duo intends to share its values, including contemplation and poetry, is savoured to an electro-acoustic soundtrack.
