Overview
Presented by In Vivo Agency, Nils Petter Molvær is one of the most eminent artists of a musical hybrid between jazz and electronic music, both improvised and composed, which has become a genre in its own right.
Molvær's first album, "Khmer" (ECM), sold more than 250,000 copies worldwide and has established his reputation as one of the leading figures of the new European jazz movement since the 1990s.
His visit to Paris is rare, and the Scandinavian trumpeter intends to make a mark for the release of his new album. His concert in Trio at the New Morning is already shaping up as a singular experience, in an atmosphere that is both melodic and atmospheric.
