Nubiyan Twist brings to the stage its electrifying blend of jazz, afrobeat, soul, hip-hop, and dance music, with a brand new formation and new live for 2026.
Known for the power of its "big band" sound and the unifying intensity of its concerts, the nine-musician collective fuses world grooves, finesse of British jazz, percussive power, and deep and contagious rhythms.
After acclaimed collaborations with musical icons such as Nile Rogers, Tony Allen, Seun Kuti, and Fatoumata Diawara, the group continues to push boundaries, uniting cultures, generations, and genres through music that celebrates connection, freedom, and groove.
Formed in Leeds and today considered one of the most respected live bands in the UK, Nubiyan Twist was nominated for MOBO Awards and AIM Awards, has strung together sold-out tours and received acclaim from NPR, Rolling Stone, Jazzwise, and Bandcamp Daily.
