BEN L'ONCLE SOUL. It's the story of a guy from Tours who's crazy about music and, in 2010, delighted the whole of France with generous doses of vintage soul. A voice, a vibe, an intoxicating freshness.

On the radio, on screen, on stages everywhere, Ben the soulman spreads the good word and charts his path over a fruitful decade: a live show at the Zénith de Paris, an album with California's Monophonics, a personal reinterpretation of Sinatra, right up to "Addicted To You", which in 2020 revealed a new Ben, now a father and firmly determined to take control of every aspect of his artistic production.

This is how Enchanté, his label, his home, came to be, welcoming a tight-knit team that would change everything.

Far from the marketing constraints of major labels, Ben puts things where he wants them: love of sound comes first, just like at the beginning, along with the thrill of creativity fed by contact with other shapers of vibration.

" (2023), a spiritual gem forged in a live spirit with his faithful stage companions.

After a huge international tour of more than 150 dates, and also releasing the aptly named "Spirit & Soul" by Linda Lee Hopkins on his label, it's time to shuffle the deck, to combine the art of beatmaking with his longing to sing freely in response to the drive of a drum kit.

In building "Sad Generation" with a golden duo of producer-multi-instrumentalists, Ben writes a bold, thrilling new chapter, full of solid coherence, that of a young forty-something ready to walk through the doors his artistic maturity is opening before him. Mike l'Inspi.

Mike l'Inspi is a Paris-based songwriter, composer and performer. A self-taught artist, Franco-Dutch-Cameroonian, he creates a unique musical world blending African roots and French modernity.

Self-taught on guitar, he has developed an intimate, popular style that reaches an ever-growing audience
