If they have happened to share the stage over the years, it is to a full collaboration that the two musicians finally committed themselves.

Since his debut within the mythic Buena Vista Social Club, the name Roberto Fonseca has been synonymous with renewal of African-Cuban music open to all winds, from hip-hop to electronic music through funk.

Vincent Ségal proceeded similarly over a journey of extraordinary richness, opening unprecedented paths with his duo Bumcello and collaborating with artists from very different horizons.

The two artists synchronized their schedules and sensitivities to record the sublime Parisian Night in Havana in a five-day session in Havana.

The album draws delicate threads between classical music and danzón, a genre open to improvisation born on the Caribbean island from the blend of Spanish tradition and Cuban rhythms. The repertoire born thus under their fingers is of poignant and romantic beauty.
