Jazz — Tiffany Muzellec pays tribute to Jo Stafford, a forgotten voice of jazz, with an elegant timbre that reveals the full richness of her musical legacy.

When the great American jazz singers are mentioned, the names of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday or Nina Simone inevitably come to mind. Yet other vocalists just as remarkable have not enjoyed the same fame. Such is the case of Jo Stafford, whose long and prestigious career is today largely unknown. Among the musicians she profoundly inspired is Tiffany Muzellec, a young singer with a voice "full of elegant inflections, relying on no showy effects" (B. Guermonprez, Jazz News).

Moved by her musicality and the quality of her interpretations, Tiffany chose to immerse herself in Jo Stafford's work in order to devise a tribute concert that is both intimate and personal. She will be accompanied by Gautier Montegu, a pianist with a delicate and sensitive touch, with whom she shares a taste for sincere music geared towards emotion.

Together, they will invite you to rediscover some of the most beautiful interpretations by Jo Stafford, in the hope of restoring to her the place she deserves among the great ladies of jazz.
