Overview
Contemporary jazz — Tim Rachbach, drummer and composer trained at the Manhattan School, presents his new compositions inspired by his musical experiences in Europe.
Trained at the Manhattan School of Music under John Riley and Kendrick Scott, American drummer and composer Tim Rachbach also studied for two years at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Back in Europe, he presents new compositions inspired by his musical experiences in the Netherlands. After playing with saxophonist Mark Turner, among others, he now surrounds himself with young French artists for a new line-up. A project blending contemporary jazz, international influences and original compositions.
Line-up: Tim Rachbach: drums; Enzo Carniel: piano; Kim Baiunco: double bass; Musina Ebobisse: tenor saxophone
