About — The artist
Bryan Adams, born November 5, 1959 in Kingston, Ontario (Canada) is a Canadian-British singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, photographer and actor.
He began his career in 1976 with the Canadian glam rock band Sweeney Todd, which he left after the success of their second album If Wishes Were Horses to launch a solo career. He took a two-year break, returning in 1991 with the album that made him a global star, Waking Up the Neighbours.
A recognized composer, he has written hits for artists like Joe Cocker (When the Night Comes in 1988). He performed in French the song Je suis là, me voilà and other music from DreamWorks' Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron animated film in 2002.
