Charlotte Wessels, born on May 13, 1987, in Zwolle, Netherlands, is a Dutch singer, best known for being the lead vocalist of the Dutch symphonic metal band Delain from 2005, when former Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt founded the band, until 2021. She was previously a member of the gothic metal band To Elysium until its dissolution, and also served as the vocalist for the band Phantasma. Since 2021, she has been pursuing a solo career.
