Khaled Hadj Ibrahim (in Arabic: خالد حاج ابراهيم), known as Khaled and locally as Cheb Khaled in Algeria, born on February 29, 1960, in Oran, is an Algerian Raï singer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He began recording in his early teens under the name Cheb Khaled and became one of the most famous Algerian singers in the 1990s with hits like Didi, Aïcha, and C'est la vie.
