Marko Tapani Hietala (born 14 January 1966 in Tervo) is a Finnish singer and bassist. He is the bassist of the Finnish bands Nightwish (until 2021) and Tarot, also serving as a vocalist in both; he is also one of the four singers of the band Northern Kings.
Hietala has been known by the stage name Marco Hietala since Tarot's early days, but since his solo album released in May 2019, he has chosen to use his birth name Marko for all his projects.
