Terence Trent D'Arby, or Sananda Maitreya since the early 2000s, is an American singer and multi-instrumentalist musician, born on March 15, 1962, in New York.
He is known in France for his singles Wishing Well and Sign Your Name released in 1987, as well as for Delicate, a duet with Des'ree released in 1993.
He plays guitar, piano, bass, and percussion. He combines soul, R&B, reggae, funk, and jazz music. He calls his music “Post Millennium Rock”.
