Cecilya & the Candy Kings

Cecilya & the Candy Kings take over the stage at the Caveau de la Huchette for an evening dedicated to jazz and swing music.

Fronted by the voice and presence of Cecilya alongside the Candy Kings, the project explores the roots of jazz, rhythm and blues and vintage 1950s sounds. The band delivers original compositions as well as reinterpretations rooted in the tradition of the great orchestras and the jazz clubs of New York and Europe.

On stage, the group deploys an acoustic and instrumental energy tailored for dancing, driven by a rigorous rhythm section and brass arrangements. Their live performances are characterised by a direct exchange with the audience, in the purest tradition of jam sessions.

This date at the Caveau de la Huchette is aimed at fans of traditional jazz, swing and analogue sounds. The audience will find the historic layout of this Latin Quarter club, ideal for close-up listening to the musicians and for dancing evenings.
