Overview
The encounter of two choral traditions is at the heart of this programme, bringing together the Adolf Fredrik Choir from Stockholm and the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris.
After hosting the young French singers in Sweden in spring 2026, the renowned Swedish choir reunites with its partners in Paris for a new stage of this artistic exchange, marked by sharing and discovery.
Alternating French and Swedish repertoires, the concert creates a dialogue between different aesthetics, languages, and sensibilities, united by the same musical standard.
Works by Fauré, Poulenc, Yves Castagnet, and Jean-Charles Gandrille, including a world premiere, illustrate the vitality of French choral heritage, while the programme presented by the Adolf Fredrik Choir offers an insight into the richness of the Nordic tradition.
Carried by the voices of two exceptional ensembles, this evening celebrates the friendship between young singers and music's ability to forge lasting bonds across borders.
