Founded in 2018, the group of Francisco, João and José Gil, sons and grandsons of Gilberto, now ranks among Brazil's most creative formations.

Masterfully blending pop, samba, reggae and Bahia rhythms to create a very personal sonic cocktail, the Gilsons write a new chapter of MPB, an acronym that instantly evokes the best of Brazilian music, itself born from the most fertile cultural movement this country has known.

Accumulating successes with a few singles ('Várias Queixas', 'Devagarinho'), the Gilsons released their debut album 'Pra Gente Acordar', immediately nominated for Latin Grammy in the 'Best contemporary pop album in Portuguese' category.
