Presented by La Companie de l'Elan. L’île des esclaves transports us to an island where the social order is inverted: masters become slaves, slaves become masters. The Greek characters, the shipwreck, and Euphrosine's character lean towards tragedy.
But the play is indeed a comedy: confusion of feelings, power exchanges between masters and valets, and finally the resolutely comical aspect of the character Arlequin. Directed by: Bernard Lefebvre and Hélène Robin.
With: Yassine Amani, Alexandre Durand, Marc Grèzes-Rueff, Phillippe Hazza, Adrien Lecoin, Bernard Lefebvre, Jean Marzouk, Marion Rif, Hélène Robin, Marwann Selmi, Clémence Thoison. Costumes: Frédéric Morel.
