L'Île des esclaves takes us to an island where the social order is turned upside down: the masters become slaves, the slaves become masters. The Greek characters, the shipwreck and the character of Euphrosine tend towards tragedy. But the play is indeed a comedy: confusion of feelings, exchanges of power between masters and valets, and above all the resolutely comic side of the character of Arlequin.
Directed by Bernard Lefebvre and Hélène Robin. With: Yassine Amani, Alexandre Durand, Marc Grèzes-Rueff, Phillippe Hazza, Adrien Lecoin, Bernard Lefebvre, Jean Marzouk, Marion Rif, Hélène Robin, Marwann Selmi, Clémence Thoison. Costumes: Frédéric Morel.
