Overview
Presented by Le Baiser Salé - 1-016846 / 2-016877 / 3-0187Carl Henri Morisset, Dylan Choisy and Elvin Bironien form a new trio built around the great standards of Caribbean jazz, which they reinterpret through the codes of today's jazz.
Their approach favours restraint and elegance: each theme is handled with precision, leaving room for improvisation to breathe.
The styles that run through this repertoire are all present, biguine, mazurka, gwoka, approached with a contemporary sensibility, balancing refined writing and freedom of playing. A heritage carried with care, where every note finds its place.
