From an Algerian brothel to the newspaper Libération, the journey of a fighter. Élise Lhomeau is an actress. As a child, Germaine Aziz would pick her up from her dance class and take her on holiday. Between the little girl and the adult woman, few words were exchanged, the modesty of a heartbreaking story silenced to make way for the light of shared moments. It was in an autobiographical account that Germaine lifted the veil on her past. A native of Oran, the orphan was sold and then prostituted during years of forced sequestration. A youth cloistered in a brothel, which ended as an animal journalist for Libération. It was only after Germaine's death that Élise confronted this searing book. Alone on stage, in a whirlwind of memories and voices, she brings this moving testimony to life in a liberating theatrical gesture.
