For this evening dedicated to the piano quintet, Ludmila Berlinskaya and the Quatuor Tchalik, both professors at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, bring together two major works from the repertoire: Franck's Quintet and Shostakovich's Quintet. A pianist with an international career, Ludmila Berlinskaya has been performing on major world stages for several decades and maintains a special connection with Shostakovich's musical universe, of which she is now one of the recognised interpreters. Alongside her, the Quatuor Tchalik, an ensemble composed of four siblings, develops a unique artistic identity nurtured by great musical cohesion and particular attention to rare repertoires as well as major quartet works.
