Against The Current

The American band Against the Current brings its energetic pop rock to the stage of the Trianon during its Parisian tour stop.

Formed in 2011 in Poughkeepsie, the American band Against the Current made its mark on the international pop rock scene after signing with the label Fueled by Ramen. Audiences discovered this group, shaped by pop and independent rock influences, through a series of EPs before the release of their first album, « In Our Bones  », in 2016. Their repertoire blends direct pop melodies with incisive rock guitars, a stylistic signature that has rallied a large community of listeners.

On stage, the band delivers a constant energy, carried by a tight line-up centred on vocals and instruments. Live performances alternate between upbeat tracks and more measured moments, offering a faithful overview of their discography. This date will particularly appeal to fans of contemporary pop rock and of the independent scene of the 2010s.

The Trianon, a historic venue located in Montmartre in the eighteenth arrondissement, hosts this performance. With its distinctive architecture and a layout that favours closeness to the stage, the venue offers a setting well suited to this kind of pop rock concert.
