"This double bass solo draws on his other projects and encompasses all the musical influences and experiences of this remarkable musician. His repertoire embraces references from jazz, Persian and Indian music, Gnawa and Chaabi, Scandinavian music, without neglecting those of pop, rock and Brazil. Constantly evolving, the man and his music continue to be nourished by the various encounters that his concerts in Canada, Europe and around the world have made possible.
